Assignment: Develop and write three marketing pieces to promote a product or service.
This should be a campaign where all pieces work together with a single CTA. Select a product or service that you’re familiar with. By familiar, you understand the product/service well, how it works, the target audience, and the key benefits. Write the following:
- A Facebook sponsored post. (A kind of advertisement.)
- A print advertisement. (A large space ad comprised of a headline, an idea for an image or other visual, 50-100 words of body copy, and CTA.)
- A promotional email. (250-350 words.)
While your three marketing pieces will work together as a single marketing campaign, the copy for each should be distinct. For example, the text for the promotional email should not be exactly the same as that on the direct mail postcard — although there are bound to be similarities.
